Job Description 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program Location: New York, Boston, San Francisco, Charlotte, Los Angeles
Leerink Partners offers a ten-week Summer Analyst Program to students in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies. This is an opportunity to be part of an experienced full-service investment bank focused on growth and innovative companies in the healthcare and life science industries. The program allows individuals the unique opportunity to assist our full-time banking professionals in their day-to-day responsibilities. This would include supporting a variety of M&A and Public Equity transactions.
As a Participant you Will: - Learn about the firm and our culture
- Gain the skills and knowledge necessary to support our business
- Receive training and guidance to help you succeed
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation of client presentations and other transaction-related materials
- Prepare valuation and financial model analyses
- Review business plans, conduct research and analyze financial statements
- Direct exposure to live deals and major transactions
- Perform due diligence processes
- Interact with the senior banking team
Experience and Qualifications Required: - Exemplary academic record on track to complete an undergraduate degree in May 2028
- Experience/concentration in Finance, Accounting and/or Life Sciences preferred
- Strong analytical skills, including financial accounting & modeling and market research
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels to manage multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail
- Intellectually curious, motivated, energetic individual who thrives working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (verbal and written)
