2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program

Location: New York, Boston, San Francisco, Charlotte, Los Angeles

Leerink Partners offers a ten-week Summer Analyst Program to students in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies. This is an opportunity to be part of an experienced full-service investment bank focused on growth and innovative companies in the healthcare and life science industries. The program allows individuals the unique opportunity to assist our full-time banking professionals in their day-to-day responsibilities. This would include supporting a variety of M&A and Public Equity transactions.

As a Participant you Will:
  • Learn about the firm and our culture
  • Gain the skills and knowledge necessary to support our business
  • Receive training and guidance to help you succeed
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations and other transaction-related materials
  • Prepare valuation and financial model analyses
  • Review business plans, conduct research and analyze financial statements
  • Direct exposure to live deals and major transactions
  • Perform due diligence processes
  • Interact with the senior banking team
Experience and Qualifications Required:
  • Exemplary academic record on track to complete an undergraduate degree in May 2028
  • Experience/concentration in Finance, Accounting and/or Life Sciences preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial accounting & modeling and market research
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels to manage multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail
  • Intellectually curious, motivated, energetic individual who thrives working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (verbal and written)
