YOUR DAY AS A ACCOUNTING/FINANCE INTERN

As an Accounting/Finance Intern at Mid-Ohio Food Collective, you will assist with daily financial tasks such as data entry, processing of donations and payables, reconciliations, and financial report generation. Participate in team meetings and gain exposure to nonprofit financial management best practices. Take ownership of specific projects under the guidance of experienced professionals. Embrace a dynamic work environment where you will learn and apply accounting principles in a real-world setting. Show your attention to detail and problem-solving skills as you navigate financial records and systems. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A ACCOUNTING/FINANCE INTERN To excel as an Accounting/Finance Intern at Mid-Ohio Food Collective, you should have a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial concepts. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis are essential. Strong analytical skills will help you interpret financial data and generate insightful reports. Effective communication skills are key as you collaborate with team members and external stakeholders. To be considered for this position, you must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, majoring in Accounting or Finance. This internship is offered on a year long basis, with a minimum work commitment of 15 hours/week during the school year.
