Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant with a strong background in Affordable Housing to join a multifamily community in New Orleans, LA. If you have a passion for helping residents and expertise in affordable housing compliance, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist prospective residents with tours and leasing inquiries
Process lease applications, income verification, and affordable housing documentation
Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and other affordable housing regulations
Handle resident communications by phone, email, and in person
Support renewals, marketing, and resident retention activities
Collaborate with the Property Manager and team to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Affordable Housing experience required (HUD/LIHTC preferred)
Previous leasing or property management experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail, especially with compliance paperwork
Professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude
