Job Summary
Inclusive play based child care center for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old

At TBDC, we believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and trial & error. We are looking for folx who share this philosophy to join our dynamic teaching team.

Your job will include encouraging creativity, fostering independence, and nurturing the children. There is no job more important in the world. The right individuals have equal parts enthusiasm and patience and should feel at home with paint on their fingers and books in their hands.

Responsibilities

• Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
• Design a daily and weekly schedule
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
• Communicate with parents and update them on their childrens activities

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
• Strong understanding of child development
• Patient, kind, and nurturing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• First aid/CPR certified

We are willing to train the right candidate. While experience is strongly preferred, it is not a requirement.
