Job Description

Heirloom Hospitality is seeking a talented and experienced Brand Marketing Manager to lead the creative efforts for our family of restaurants. This role will focus on leading, managing, developing and implementing marketing initiatives to grow brand identities across all concepts. They will be responsible for managing all brand marketing efforts including but not limited to: social media, websites, email campaigns, 3rd party listings, calendars and other projects. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will play a key part in shaping exceptional guest experiences and cultivating relationships both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Ownership:
    • Ensure all marketing initiatives reflect Heirloom Hospitality’s core values and brand vision.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop creative concepts that support strategic goals.
  • Digital Creation Management & Execution:
    • Maintain the brand identity for all restaurants across all digital platforms by creating vision for content curation.
    • Owns, creates and maintains brand-updated websites, public-facing platforms, and additional external platforms across all restaurant locations at all times; including but not limited to restaurant websites, Google My Business, Yelp, Trip Advisor, The Knot, Apple Maps, Linktree, Visit Detroit, Nashville Music City, Pure Michigan, Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Resy, etc.
    • Works alongside the photographer & videographer to schedule and manage on-site shoots as directed.
    • Uses content to lead creative support for in-restaurant and experiential campaigns.
  • Administrative Marketing Tasks:
    • Assists team (Creative Designer & Director of Marketing) with a variety of administrative marketing tasks as needed and directed. Including but not limited to organizing Monday.com, Canva, Google Drive Files, Google My Business Calendars, additional digital platforms.
  • Project Management & Partners Oversight:
    • Assists the Director of Marketing in communication and project management flow to restaurant operations as directed in coordinating and organizing pop-ups, on-site events, photo/video shoots, promotions, collaborations, or additional activations and events as directed.
    • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and vendors to execute initiatives and communications seamlessly.
    • Acts as assistant liaison alongside the Director of Marketing for communication with any partnerships, external vendors, internal culinary operations, and more as determined. Participates in marketing team discussions, internal and external meetings, and ideation of marketing strategies as directed.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of hospitality marketing experience, must have experience in restaurants and/or the hospitality industry, additional food and beverage industry relative is a plus.
  • A deep understanding and experience with social media platforms.
  • Experience in new restaurant openings is a plus.
  • Knowledge of operations within restaurants is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of branding, marketing strategies, and marketing research.
  • Familiarity with trends in content creation and professional digital media files and formats.
  • Excellent communication, project management, time management, and team collaboration skills.
  • Maintain flexibility and be able to set priorities as challenges are presented in a fast-paced, changing, and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to balance creativity with business goals and meet tight deadlines until projects are complete (strong emphasis on new restaurant openings).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
