Position: Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Banking and Financial Services domain expertise to support Incedo’s ongoing digital transformation, regulatory compliance initiatives, and core banking projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in gathering requirements, working with cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions in large-scale banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for banking applications.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, BRDs, FRDs, and process flows.
• Support core banking, retail banking, payments, deposits, lending, and digital banking initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and process improvements for new and existing banking systems.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog; assist in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
• Perform data analysis using SQL/Excel to validate business processes, reports, and system outputs.
• Assist QA teams in creating test scenarios, reviewing test cases, and performing UAT coordination.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, risk frameworks, audit standards, and security guidelines.
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate in cross-functional projects involving digital channels, customer experience, fraud, KYC/AML, and financial operations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking or Financial Services domain .
• Strong knowledge of banking operations —deposits, payments, credit cards, loans, retail/consumer banking, or commercial banking.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools such as Jira, Confluence.
• Proficiency in creating BRD, FRD, Use Cases, User Stories, Workflow Diagrams .
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements : KYC, AML, OFAC, risk & compliance, audit controls.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in SQL, data analysis, and reporting .
• Experience working with core banking systems , digital platforms, or third-party banking applications.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Banking client processes or tools (added advantage).
• Knowledge of API integrations, system migrations, or digital banking transformation projects.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, Scrum Master, Product Owner are a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
