Job Description

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to identify, engage, and close new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT consulting, staffing, or software development industries, with proven experience building client relationships and growing revenue streams.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted market segments and regions.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aimed at increasing market presence and revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current clients through regular communication and meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (recruiting, consulting, and technical) to ensure solutions meet client needs and expectations.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing agreements, and service-level agreements with clients.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of prospects and forecast sales results to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on business development activities, metrics, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within IT consulting, staffing, or software development/ software sales .
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and ability to leverage professional relationships effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable strategies and proposals.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, sales analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or within a team environment.
