Job Description

*** $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS** for full-time applicants

Greencastle Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is a physical therapist owned, private practice located in south central Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a full-time Athletic trainer to fulfill our ongoing outreach contract with Greencastle Area School District.

*Qualifications*
* MS/MEd degree preferred; current NATA - BOC Certification required
* Pennsylvania ATC License (Entry level graduates with NATA certification will be considered)
* Decision-making skills to make treatment assessments based on quick injury evaluation
* Effective interpersonal skills to communicate both in person and in writing

*Responsibilities*
* Improve functional outcomes for patients with focus on patient education to prevent injury and re-injury
* Provide athletic training services for all home athletic contests and practices
* Act as liaison between family physicians and specialists, the school district, athletes and their parents
* Maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments
* Assist with the scheduling and execution of pre-participation sports physicals
* Communicate with coaches and athletic director regarding status of athlete medical eligibility as recommended by district and state rules and regulations
* Provide intermittent clinical support to Greencastle Physical Therapy as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
