About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's mission to increase economic freedom globally. This role is pivotal in the administration and execution of the risk management program, ensuring alignment with the global risk framework and all relevant regulatory guidelines. The Chief Risk Officer will work closely with risk partners and stakeholders to identify, track, and report on risks, as well as oversee the management of both existing and emerging risks. A key aspect of the role is to provide independent assurance on the business's key risks and to support the senior management in addressing any identified gaps. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a detail-oriented approach, capable of developing and maintaining effective risk management processes. Candidates for the Chief Risk Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management within a global financial institution or financial services firm. In-depth knowledge of core risk management principles and a proven track record in building out risk programs are essential. The role requires the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships, as well as strong communication skills for engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders. A Master's degree is preferred, and a strong interest in and knowledge of emerging crypto trends is a definite plus.
