Role and Overview of the role:
This is outdoor wireless testing daily. So, a lot of changes, working with different vendors of the development work. Cisco, Nokia, Ericsson, Siemens, the different wireless OEMs that they work with. Candidates interact on a day-to-day basis trying to help them tune or change their products to meet their application requirements. So, from a communication perspective, could be dealing with vendors, It Could be a bit more travel. This is a lot of network testing and working with vendors and back and forth. Candidates are on troubleshooting calls with vendors every day. So, at least 50% of candidates are interacting with non-Caterpillar employees. Most of the time, whether it's underground or surface mining, when candidates are going to customer sites, it's to do testing of their network prior to them deploying autonomous trucks or remote-control machines
