Job Description

Scope of Work: The contractor will design and support the cloud architecture and technologies to host and support for NYS Healthcare Acquired Infection Outbreak Management System. The contractor will also ensure that systems have a higher availability and capacity for user access to meet pandemic needs as well as build, increase and maintain our cloud footprint.


Mandatory Qualifications:

• This position requires at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Candidate Proposal Response.
• 6 year's experience in designing/architecting, implementing, testing, and deployment of Data Pipelines.
• 6 year's experience with managing data processing workloads (like Python, SAS, SQL, etc).
• 6 year's experience with building and managing data platforms (like Airflow, SAS Viya, Tableau)
• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 year's experience with building and managing data and application workloads in a cloud hybrid environment.
• 6 year's experience with managing cloud data - (i.e. Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, processing/compute)
• 6 year's experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure such as security, data migration, autoscaling, process monitoring.
• 6 year's experience with managing cloud native data pipelines.
• 6 year's experience with cloud security such as encryption at rest and In-transit.
