Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description

Join our small, locally owned and operated job shop in Trinity, AL, specializing in custom CNC machined parts for a diverse range of customers and industries. We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist who excels in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce custom parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling as needed.
• Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with a small team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in a job shop environment.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and CNC operations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Work Environment

Our facility is clean, air-conditioned, and supports a small team environment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trinity, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
