Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

Join a dynamic manufacturer in the South Bend-Mishawaka area as a CNC Mill Machinist on the 2nd shift. Be part of a team operating across five different CNC Machine cells, totaling around 20 CNC machines. You will primarily work with Horizontal Mills (4- or 5-axis Mills) and engage in both high-volume runs and custom part production.

Responsibilities

• Operate both 4 and 5 axis mills.
• Read and interpret blueprints to set up tooling and jaws.
• Perform 1-3 machine setups per shift.
• Conduct first-piece inspections using quality tools.
• Make adjustments to CNC machinery and touch off tooling.
• Ensure parts meet client specifications using quality instruments.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience operating CNC Mill machinery.
• Proficiency in using quality instruments such as micrometers and gages.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Physical capability to lift 25+ pounds repetitively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• NIMS Certification in CNC Machining is a plus.
• Experience in setting up CNC Mill machinery.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
