The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students seeking online Conversational Spanish tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from home. Responsibilities Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions focused on Conversational Spanish. Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Explain concepts clearly and maintain engaging, friendly communication. Use the Live Learning Platform to deliver sessions and engage with students in real time. Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage your own schedule; the platform handles payments. What We Look For In a Tutor Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Conversational Spanish with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education are considered a plus. Compensation and How You’ll Be Paid Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour with same-student sessions. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. We handle the logistics—you just invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments. Ways To Connect With Students 1-on-1 Online Tutoring – Provide personalized instruction to individual students. Instant Tutoring – Accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever you’re available.
