The Corporate Legal and Compliance Assistant provides critical administrative and operational support to the General Counsel, with a focus on contract lifecycle management, claims monitoring, and corporate compliance. This role ensures the Legal and Risk Management department operates efficiently by supporting key processes, maintaining organizational systems, and tracking deadlines related to internal collections, claims, contracts, and licensing activities. Responsibilities Support contract lifecycle management within legal department, including coordination of reviews, redlines, and approvals. Track and facilitate internal collections efforts, coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed. Monitor and assist in the administration of insurance claims, including workers’ compensation, general liability, auto, and construction defects. Provide administrative support for corporate licensing and permitting processes across jurisdictions. Maintain and manage the General Counsel’s calendar, task lists, and project deadlines to ensure timely completion of legal matters. Organize and maintain legal documentation and records to support compliance and audit readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, sales, HR) to support transactional needs and ensure alignment with company policies. Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred 2+ years of proven experience in an administrative, legal assistant, or compliance support role Familiarity with contract management and legal document review preferred Experience in claims handling and insurance-related administrative tasks preferred Experience supporting in-house counsel or legal/compliance departments preferred Experience with CRM systems preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems #J-18808-Ljbffr North American Roofing
