CTEP at African Economic Development Solutions Join to apply for the CTEP at African Economic Development Solutions role at AmeriCorps We believe that access to key resources, institutional frameworks, and nourishing environments are essential for achieving financial success within marginalized communities. Our work focuses on four main areas: Business Development: Promoting entrepreneurship, small business development, and technical assistance. Fill out the intake form if you need help starting or expanding your business. Lending: Providing access to capital for entrepreneurs through innovative financial instruments and strategies. Financial Counseling and Coaching: Offering personalized advice for individuals and families to improve credit, buy homes, and build financial stability. Community Building: Engaging with communities to ensure African immigrants have a voice, leveraging cultural assets and advocating for supportive policies. Member Duties include: Leading workshops and one-on-one sessions on Microsoft Office, resume writing, and internet skills. Assisting community members with digital skills development. Supporting outreach and engagement efforts. Program Benefits include an education award, childcare assistance (if eligible), living allowance, health coverage, and training. Terms: Permits attendance at school during off hours. Permits working another job during off hours.
