Job Description

The Data and Visualization Team has an opening for a Data Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technology and data analysis. We need someone skilled in building and maintaining robust data pipelines, but also someone with the ability and passion to explore that data, identify meaningful trends, and translate those findings into impactful interactive dashboards and reports.

What youll do
  • Design and implement robust data models and architectures, ensuring data quality, scalability, and performance. This may involve working with data warehouses, data lakes (Cloud), and various data sources.

  • Create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, adhering to data visualization best practices and design principles.

  • Continuously explore new technologies and techniques to improve BI processes and deliver innovative solutions.

  • Lead key efforts in terms of data interpretation and trending Perform data analysis and deliver insights from large data sets to drive business decisions and growth.

What experience you need

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems engineering.

  • 2+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills, effectively conveying insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • 2+ years advanced SQL , and cloud-based data lakes (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS Redshift).

  • 2+ years of working experience with Data visualization tools such as Tableau Desktop, Looker or similar.

  • 2+ years of experience developing and implementing machine learning models using Python , with a solid foundation in data modeling techniques.

  • English proficiency B2+ or above.

  • Business Intelligence Certifications: Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Server Certified Associate, or Power BI Data Analyst Associate. These validate your proficiency in popular BI tools.

  • Google Cloud and Big Data Competency.
