Job Title: Dayforce HR Consultant

Location: Remote EST

Duration: 4 mos+

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Hybrid Dayforce Consultant with a blend of technical acumen and functional HR knowledge to support the implementation, customization, and optimization of our Dayforce HCM platform. This role requires hands-on configuration, integration work, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into Dayforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the end-to-end configuration of Dayforce HCM modules, including Payroll, HR, Benefits, Workforce Management, and Talent Management.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements; recommend and implement Dayforce solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot custom workflows, rules, reports, and integrations (e.g., with payroll providers, benefit carriers, and third-party systems).
  • Partner with HR, IT, and Finance to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and system efficiency.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between functional teams and Ceridian/third-party vendors.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing (unit, regression, and user acceptance), and optimization projects.
  • Provide technical and functional support and training to internal teams and end users.
  • Monitor system performance, data integrity, and support security role maintenance.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 3+ years of Dayforce HCM experience, with both functional configuration and technical (integration/reporting) responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience with reporting tools, custom calculations, XML, and Dayforce APIs or web services.
  • Strong knowledge of HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance processes and regulations (FLSA, ACA, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Dayforce certification in multiple modules (Payroll, WFM, HR, etc.).
  • Experience with SQL, Ceridian Integration Studio, or Web Services (REST/SOAP).
  • Background in consulting or working in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience with system change management, user adoption, and training delivery.
