About us

Our dental office in Visalia is looking for a team player for our Front Office Receptionist position with outstanding customer service skills! The position would include the following responsibilities:Answering phones, scheduling appointments, Dental Insurance verification, greeting our patients, helping with our social media post.

**Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Our hours of operation are: Monday thru Thursday 7:30am - 5:30 pm. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient care and maintaining the highest level of professionalism within our dental office. Your exceptional organizational skills, combined with your passion for delivering outstanding patient service, will make you an invaluable addition to our team.

**Responsibilities**

- Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling and confirming appointments, and ensuring timely arrival for all patients.

- Prepare and maintain patient charts, including accurate dental coding, and ensuring all relevant medical information is up-to-date.

- Utilize clinic software, including Dentrix and Dexis, to manage patient records and communicate effectively with patients and providers.

- Provide exceptional customer service, answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.

- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry, to maintain the smooth operation of our dental office.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care and support.

- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards.

- Develop strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment journey.

**Qualifications**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a healthcare field an asset.

- Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is not required.

- Comfortable/familiar with word & excel

- Able to manage our social media pages

- Excellent patient service and customer service skills is an absolute must.

- Proficiency in clinic software preferred but not required.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.

- A positive and empathetic attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
