CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Digital Forensic Analyst for a full-time, mid-level position within the Forensics department. The primary responsibilities include the preservation and collection of mobile device and cloud-stored data, performing forensic data collection and analysis, and coordinating with legal and IT teams. The role requires travel for on-site collection and in-office work at the primary firm location, which includes a forensics lab and data center. The ideal candidate should have: An undergraduate degree in Digital Forensic Science, Computer Science, or related fields At least 1 year of relevant experience with forensic lifecycle, evidence acquisition, and analysis Experience with industry-standard forensic tools such as EnCase, Cellebrite, Oxygen, FTK Imager, MacQuisition, X1 Social Discovery, and Logicube Falcon Understanding of filesystems, mobile devices, encryption, and preservation of various data sources Strong communication, organizational, troubleshooting skills, and willingness to travel Preferred qualifications include industry certifications (e.g., EnCE, CCE, GCFE), knowledge of litigation support applications, scripting, and programming skills.
