Salary Range: $85,000 to $90,000 annually City Experiences is seeking a Director of Guest Services for our operations in Newport Beach and Marina del Rey. About You: This individual will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System. About the Opportunity: The successful candidate will manage the city food & beverage team, overseeing recruitment, training, coaching, development, and retention. Responsible for ensuring high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Food and Beverage Operations Ensure effective cruise execution according to the Product Management Guide, providing guests with a seamless experience. Direct the Food & Beverage team efforts. Coach FOH and BOH Managers during cruises. Identify training needs and evaluate performance. Establish departmental priorities aligned with the long-term vision. Develop budgets with the General Manager. Collaborate with other departments and develop port strategies. Adhere to SOPPs and implement initiatives. Maintain liaison with other departments. Coordinate with National Food & Beverage team. Oversee Photo and Parking operations. Ensure safety and compliance training completion. Staff Management Recruit and onboard new FOH and BOH Managers. Implement training and development plans. Participate in hiring and orientation. Recommend compensation packages. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback. Support career growth and promotions. Build positive relationships with other departments. Customer Service Resolve guest issues diplomatically. Implement safety programs. Maintain sanitation standards. Follow the RESPECT program for excellent service. Administration Monitor and control costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities. Develop initiatives to increase onboard revenue. Provide financial forecasts and reports. Maintain cash control and purchasing systems. Oversee crew scheduling for payroll efficiency. Ensure compliance with health and alcohol regulations. Participate in fleetwide task forces. Requirements & Qualifications: 3-5 years of restaurant experience in a high-volume environment, including 3 years of management experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience. Proven management and recruitment skills. Responsible alcohol service TIPS Certification. Knowledge of health codes and ServSafe Certification. Experience in cost and wage control. Effective communication and team motivation skills. Financial management capabilities. Problem-solving and multitasking skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
