At Atrium Hospitality, we know that great businesses are built on strong teams. We’re looking for a Director of Human Resources who will not only support our property leaders and associates — but also influence culture, drive meaningful business outcomes, and leave a lasting impact. At Atrium, teamwork isn’t just a word—it’s how we succeed together. Hear from Sofia a current DHR: "Atrium has played a significant role in my growth as a leader by encouraging me to expand my knowledge, participate in the supervisory skills program, and learn new aspects of the business. Having a supportive mentor and an inspiring boss has also been instrumental in my development." What You’ll Do: Be a strategic advisor to operational leaders on all employment matters, including: Talent Acquisition & Recruitment, Compensation Strategy & Planning, Benefits Education & Administration, Employee Development, Training & Career Pathing, Performance Management, Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution, Compliance Management and Risk Mitigation. Bring Atrium’s Core Values to life by creating a positive, inclusive culture through events, recognition programs, and open communication. Lead full-cycle recruiting by collaborating with hiring managers, focusing on candidate experience, and leveraging innovative tools and strategies. Champion community engagement and represent the property in local outreach and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. Develop talent and leadership by partnering with Regional and Corporate leaders to provide coaching, training, and performance management for associates. Ensure safety and wellbeing, co-chairing the property safety committee and leading Workers’ Compensation processes with care and precision. Foster a transparent, approachable environment, where associates feel heard, understood, and supported — with a strong open-door policy and multiple communication channels. And of course — roll up your sleeves and lead by example when new challenges or opportunities arise. Why This Role Is Perfect for You: You’ve built a career on trust, leadership, and follow-through — and you want to be part of a company that values that. You know that HR is about more than policies — it’s about people, partnerships, and problem-solving. You’re energized by coaching and mentoring others and making a real difference in their careers. You enjoy working autonomously, while still being part of a collaborative team that supports each other and works toward shared goals. You appreciate stability and structure, but you’re also not afraid to challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to the table. Qualifications: Required Prior Experience: 5+ years of Human Resources experience as a HR leader with broad HR Generalist skills. Working knowledge and practice of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, COBRA, etc. and an understanding of state and federal law. Preferred Prior Experience: Hospitality experience. Prior experience implementing HR strategies and initiatives. Required Education: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field of study; or equivalent experience. Required Licenses/ Certification: HR Certification active or in process. Other: Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills. Bi-Lingual Preferred.
