In this role, you will work with the EVP, Chief Information and Data Officer (CIDO) to design and lead the Enterprise Technology strategy, lead strategic initiatives, support the overall effectiveness of the organization, and serve as their “right-hand”. This role is highly strategic, serving three core functions: (1) a strategic thought partner to define and evolve our technology strategy, (2) an orchestrator to connect the dots, support senior executive decision making, and drive the operating rhythm for the organization, and (3) a strategic initiatives leader to accelerate the impact of our strategy. You will also partner closely with senior executive leaders across Enterprise Technology and The Walt Disney Company. Responsibilities Partner with the CIDO to create the Enterprise Technology strategy Identify and create Technology business cases to develop technical and business solutions. Vet new technical solutions and proposals, connecting the appropriate technical resources to projects. Lead technical projects and initiatives on behalf of the CIDO, assisting in critical decision-making. Lead research, stakeholder coordination, and content development for high-level presentations to senior executives. Develop presentation materials covering technical content. Analyze and interpret technology business performance measures and tell a story behind the data. Lead the Technology Skills Training function; partner with HR to design and implement a technical skills inventory. Implement and run a disciplined management operating system and rhythm (e.g., agile ceremonies). Partner with the VP, Technology Transformation to track and report on KPI scorecards. Manage diverse requests, priorities, and activities. Work with key partners to develop the brand of technology and data internally and externally. Organizational Restructuring and Leadership Partner with leadership and HR to drive organizational transformation, including frameworks, strategies, and communication. Define the leadership team’s operating cadence, manage offsites, and ensure follow-up on decisions. Establish and define the Office of the CIDO operating cadence, roles, and responsibilities. Communications & Cast Engagement Deliver engagement events like Town Halls, heritage months, and targeted employee efforts. Lead external engagements such as partnerships, conferences, and university speaking opportunities. Qualifications Ability to create and implement mission, vision, and roadmap. Extensive strategic, modern technology, and data skills at the leadership level, with clear communication. Experience in strategy development and execution. Strong program management and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to drive innovation and adaptability. Positive working relationships across Disney are a plus. The hiring range in Burbank, CA is $202,900 - $272,100, and in New York City, NY is $212,600 - $285,100. Compensation may vary based on multiple factors.
