This is a 3-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Santa Monica, CA.
Summary

We're seeking an experienced and highly organized marketing lead to drive the end-to-end development and execution of physical-forward catalog release campaigns. This role supports strategic initiatives that celebrate legacy artists through immersive storytelling, premium physical formats, and cross-channel fan engagement. The position plays a critical role in aligning internal and external stakeholders to deliver culturally resonant, commercially successful releases.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in music marketing, physical product strategy, or campaign/project management

  • Passion for catalog music and physical formats with a strong foundation in campaign planning, cross-functional collaboration, and legacy storytelling

  • Proficient in tools and platforms related to CRM, e-commerce, and project management

  • Familiar with physical product development cycles, collector markets, and D2C strategies

  • Skilled in collaborating with creative, production, A&R, and commerce teams

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexible and adaptable to shifting timelines, stakeholders, and business needs

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to packaging and creative detail

  • Innovative mindset with a love for music history and strategic storytelling

Job Description

In this role, you will lead cross-functional marketing campaigns for physical catalog releases including deluxe editions, vinyl reissues, box sets, and collector's items.

You'll partner with e-commerce, retail marketing, CRM, creative, and media teams to develop strategic launch plans that integrate D2C activations with broader digital and physical retail efforts. This includes managing timelines, campaign budgets, stakeholder communication, and ensuring seamless execution from pre-sale through post-launch.

You will also support long-lead product development timelines, coordinate creative and production approvals, and contribute to the long-term brand development strategy for legacy artists.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Background in music industry marketing, e-commerce strategy, or product lifecycle management

  • Experience with legacy or heritage artist campaigns preferred
