Job Description: As an In-Home Furniture Repair Technician, your primary responsibility will be to travel to customers' homes and provide professional repair services for various types of furniture. You will be responsible for assessing the furniture's condition, identifying issues, and executing the necessary repairs with precision and expertise. The role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with various materials such as wood, leather, fabric, and metal.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to customers' homes to assess and repair their furniture.
• Diagnose and identify issues, such as scratches, dents, tears, loose joints, or broken parts.
• Perform repairs and restoration work on various furniture types, including but not limited to sofas, chairs, tables, cabinets, and bed frames.
• Utilize a variety of tools and techniques to restore furniture to its original condition.
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in every repair job.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining the repair process and addressing any customer concerns.
• Offer professional advice to customers on furniture maintenance and care.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Furniture Repair Technician or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of different furniture materials, construction techniques, and repair methods.
• Proficiency in using a wide range of tools and equipment related to furniture repair.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve high-quality repair work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with customers.
• Physical ability to lift and move furniture pieces as needed.
• Time management skills to efficiently schedule and complete repair appointments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in furniture repair or related field.
• Previous experience in customer service or working directly with clients.
• Knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials.
