Direct message the job poster from Hudson Gate Partners Tax Manager- Hedge Fund ($150-225k All In) NYC 3-4 days in office/week Tax Manager- Hedge Fund Our client is a hedge fund looking for a Tax Manager to join their firm’s internal tax team. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience working with alternative investment funds and related entities. A successful candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be able to successfully meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. This role will report into the North America Head of Tax. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Oversee tax compliance at the Federal, State, and Local level Managing internal and external tax deliverables and reporting Coordinate preparation of tax returns, Schedule K-1s, and other tax filings Assist with tax structuring for new entities Prepare and review various tax workpapers Communicate tax matters with internal and external parties Assist with tax research and ad-hoc tax projects Implement tax initiatives that align with the firm’s business objectives Ideal Qualifications: 3+ years tax experience at a large national CPA or investment firm Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting / tax; CPA/EA is a plus Substantial experience working with alternative investment funds Extensive knowledge of hedge fund allocations Substantial experience reviewing tax returns, Schedule K-1s, and other tax filings across multiple jurisdictions (federal, state and local) Ability to think critically and problem solve Excellent writing and communication skills Please email resumes to rowan@hudsongatepartners.com Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Investment Management Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Hudson Gate Partners by 2x Get notified about new Tax Manager jobs in New York City Metropolitan Area .
