VA Hospice and Palliative in Las Vegas, Nevada! The Hospice and Palliative Care (H&PC) Physician is an integral part of the H&PC program at the Las Vegas / Southern Nevada HealthCare System which includes an integrated inpatient and outpatient program. The H&PC Physician works closely with the Palliative Care Team consisting of Palliative Care physicians, Palliative Care Nurses, Social Worker and Chaplain. The incumbent will be responsible for the overall medical care of patients with conditions requiring treatment in their specialty to include consultative, prescriptive and ordering authority in the outpatient/ambulatory and or inpatient settings at the VA Southern NV Health Care System in Las Vegas, NV. Education Loan Repayment Work Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, 7:30am - 4:00pm, or 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME) Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement) Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification) Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting Let's Connect!
