Description:
Our client is currently seeking an International Logistics Coordinator to join their team.  This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate and track shipments and operations, ensuring efficient flow of goods for customers internationally.
• Manage all aspects of international shipments, including compliance with countries’ regulations and export/import procedures.
• Work with customs brokers to clear shipments and resolve any customs issues.
• Utilize logistics IT systems to enhance tracking and efficiency of shipments.
• Ensure compliance with international logistics standards and legal regulations.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-reduction strategies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a seamless logistics process and high customer satisfaction.
• Handle logistics emergencies, discrepancies, and claims efficiently, minimizing the impact on operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in international logistics or supply chain management.
• In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, including customs regulations, import/export documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with international partners and carriers.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
