Responsibilities

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager Elverson, PA Distribution Center is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of all warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations in the Elverson, PA Distribution Center. This role ensures operational excellence, cost control, and high-quality service delivery while driving continuous improvement and aligning operations with company objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in warehousing and logistics management.

• Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehousing, logistics, and distribution operations.
• Align operational goals with the company's overall business objectives.
• Warehousing Operations:
• Oversee the management of warehouse facility, ensuring optimal space utilization, inventory accuracy, and efficient processes.
• Implement and maintain best practices in inventory control, order fulfillment, and material handling.
• Logistics and Transportation:
• Manage transportation activities, including carrier selection, route optimization, and delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for domestic and international shipping.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations professionals, including warehouse supervisors, logistics staff, and other team members.
• Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Performance Management:
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
• Budget and Cost Control:
• Develop and manage budgets for warehousing and logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective practices.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
• Technology and Systems:
• Evaluate and support the implementation of technologies to streamline operations, including warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Ensure data integrity and leverage analytics for informed decision-making.
• Customer Satisfaction:
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery.
• Maintain high standards of service to meet customer expectations.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain management, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation logistics.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and data analytics tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Knowledge of and experience working in unionized environments.

Work Location: Elverson, PA / In-Office

Compensation: $85K-$120K
