Title: Junior Project Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - Onsite Tues-Thurs)
Type: Long-Term Contract - Government Sector

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support our client's growing Project Delivery team. This position is ideal for a junior-level professional who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working with diverse personalities, including handling occasional challenges with difficult stakeholders. You'll play a critical role in keeping projects organized and on track by handling coordination tasks, reporting, and information gathering.

Your role:

• Support project delivery by scheduling and coordinating meetings, documenting action items, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Generate reports and track project progress, identifying potential risks or delays.
• Collect and organize information from internal teams and vendors to maintain accurate project documentation.
• Facilitate communication between project managers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including managing project timelines, maintaining documentation, and following up on outstanding items.

What you've got:

• Previous experience in project coordination or project support roles, preferably in IT or government settings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and handle challenging stakeholders professionally.
