Lab Technician

Location: Plano, TX

Pay: $21-23/HR

Shift: M-F, 8AM to 4:30PM

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
• Strong proficiency in HPLC operation for both purification and analytical applications.
• Experience with defiltration and/or Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual and automated solid-phase peptide synthesis, along with purification and characterization.
• Perform small to intermediate-scale molecule synthesis using standard organic synthesis techniques.
• Utilize HPLC and LC/MS for peptide purification and characterization.
• Plan, execute, and document experiments under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Effectively manage time to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently on assigned tasks after receiving proper training.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Research scientific literature to troubleshoot issues and support ongoing and future projects.
