LanceSoft is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Pediatrics for a local contract job in Chico, California.

Job Description & Requirements

• 38 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Minimum:

Graduate of a Family Nurse Practitioner program or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program.  (New graduates may be considered with prior experience in pediatrics and/or NICU)

 

Desired:

Bilingual in Spanish

Acute care pediatric and or NICU experience

Experience with intubation and placing emergency umbilical lines

 

Desired:

National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with a PNP (Pediatric) specialty

 

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

Must have the confidence and experience to work independently with diverse patient populations and experience in accessing specialty referrals and community resources.   

Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. 

Must have the ability to lead, motivate, delegate, analyze information and problem solve. 

Behavior should be reflective of Enloe Medical Center core values.  

Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

 

PATIENTS SERVED:

This position is responsible for age-related, physiological, emotional and cognitive needs of the following patient populations: Pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. 

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:\nCurrent licensure as a Registered Nurse with the California Board of Registered Nursing\nCurrent licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the California Board of Registered Nursing\nCurrent licensure as a Nurse Practitioner Furnisher with the California Board of Registered Nursing (within 3 months of hire)\nDrug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application (within 3 months of hire)\nMeets Centers for Medical & Medicaid Services (CMS) criteria to bill Medicare\nCurrent AHA-HCP CPR recognition\nCredentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff office and Finance Office\nNRP recognition within 6 months of hire\nPALS recognition within 6 months of hire.\n\n#HCCR(NJ)
