As the Manufacturing Operations Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising employees in our facility, ensuring effective operation by preparing work schedules, assigning tasks, coordinating the flow of work and assigned projects, overseeing completion of work, and monitoring the performance of your team. Attention to detail, demonstrated supervisory abilities and proficiency in manufacturing, distribution, inventory, and warehousing processes are crucial experience for this position. This is an onsite position in our Mt. Juliet TN location, with a schedule of Monday - Thursday 5AM - 3:30PM. Duties and responsibilities include ensuring adherence to company policies and process standards, maintaining employee morale, overseeing training of new and existing staff, working with manager to establish department and company goals, driving process improvements and coordinating new product introductions, acting as liaison between teams, shifts, supervisors and departments, accomplishing supervisory and human resource objectives such as hiring, performance reviews, mentoring/coaching and disciplinary actions, managing the team training matrix for compliance, reviewing Tableau reports to ensure performance metrics attainment, driving engagement and fostering a strong culture, meeting production operational and financial standards, monitoring production performance and ensuring timely completion of daily shift reports, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, conducting periodic one on one meetings with associates, and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing/repair environment, strong knowledge of MS Office, prior experience in warehouse/shipping/receiving or related environment, ability to identify process and workflow improvements, demonstrated experience with direct supervision and coaching, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interface with all levels of personnel, high energy professional with strong interpersonal skills, driven and goal-oriented, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and may be required to work across multiple shifts. Helpful skills include an Associates Degree and 3+ years supervising 15+ hourly associates, and understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
