Job Title: Unit Supervisor

Duration: 03 Months contract with possible extension

Location: Milan, IL (Onsite)

Shift Information: Position is for 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm-9:30 pm

Job description:

Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading the department to execute and achieve the stated metrics.

Must haves:

• - Ability to work multiple shifts and work overtime as required, including some weekend work
• -Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both salary and wage personnel
• -Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• -Knowledge of warehouse distribution and material flow processes

What Makes a Candidate Stand Out:

• Experience supervising or leading a team in a union environment
• Working knowledge of the Continuous Improvement Process (CI) and 5S methodology
• Experience with an incentive pay system such as CIPP (Continuous Improvement Pay Plan) and work measurement
• Experience using statistical tools and techniques for quality management
• Knowledge or work experience in project management
• Experience with capacity and manpower planning
