The Medical Assistant functions as an important member of the healthcare team by providing basic clinical, clerical, and technical support to assist providers in planning for patients’ care, comfort, and safety. The Medical Assistant performs in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic’s mission, policies, and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Work shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with 1 day per week outreach to Wisconsin Rapids Center location. Job qualifications include education and experience requirements for Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant roles, including graduation from a Medical Assistant program or equivalent coursework, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Preferred qualifications include healthcare experience and BLS certification at time of hire. The position requires compliance with federal program participation rules and supports Marshfield Clinic Health System’s commitment to accessible, affordable, and compassionate healthcare.
