Well established Trade Show/Events company company in Boston and Vegas has a great growth opportunity for a versatile mid-level mechanical production artist who appreciates and thrives on the design process within a collaborative environment.

The ideal individual will have some experience working in a fast-paced agency/print production ( not design ) environment on a variety of mediums: print, digital, environmental/large scale graphics, marketing collateral and much more. You will work closely with design and marketing leadership to ensure that the creative needs of the clients/big brand(s) are met. This is not a conceptual design role although there are many creative aspects involved with a collaborative creative team.

Strong layout and aesthetics, great typography skills, eye for design to be able to :

– Working within templates and manage assets that adhere to each client's brand guidelines and maintain client’s high level of creative standards.

– Create production ready layouts and submit to production following final client approval

– Partners with the creatives to edit layouts including manipulation of images as well as ensuring guidelines

– Works on pieces for new business pitches, creating graphics for video and web use, and maintaining archives and work files

This is not a senior position. This is a remote (US ONLY) long term contract opportunity with a fun collaborative creative team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience, preferably within an agency or creative studio environment
  • 1+ years large format print experience recommended
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat; Illustrator predominant program
  • Must be a team player who is fast, accurate and organized
  • Advanced experience direct print process graphics and signage (panels, banners and adhesive vinyl graphics)
  • Excellent communication skills; must have strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills; must be able to self-manage and be organized/detail-oriented
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently; should have a lean overall approach to design processes
  • Ability to think strategically and translate creative requests into high-quality content
