TIG welder entry level job description $21.00

An entry-level TIG welder is responsible for assisting more experienced welders and performing a variety of tasks related to TIG welding. Key responsibilities include:

• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and drawings to plan layouts and ensure proper alignment of components.

• Using TIG welding equipment to bond metals together, such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

• Inspecting welded structures and components for flaws and ensuring all equipment is properly set up and used safely.

• Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  The ideal candidate for an entry-level TIG welder position should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, completion of a welding apprenticeship or certification, and a strong work ethic. They should also be able to perform tasks such as adjusting welding equipment settings, inspecting final products, and learning safety rules and company policies.
