Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship Trained Mohs Surgeon to join our growing practice in Jacksonville, FL. As a Mohs Surgeon at Suncoast Skin Solutions, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve performing Mohs micrographic surgery, the most effective treatment for skin cancer. You will specialize in advanced treatments for skin cancer and work towards ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. Additional responsibilities include providing advanced treatments for skin cancer, performing general dermatology and collaborating with the dermatology team to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Dermatology from an approved university
  • Board certification in Dermatology and Mohs Surgery
  • Active State of Florida License
  • Medicine and Dermatology skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in Mohs micrographic surgery procedures and techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in surgical procedures
  • Experience in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Provide a collaborative, supervising Physician role
  • Manual dexterity and an eye for detail
  • Adhere to state laws and regulations
  • Strong commitment to quality and safety of patients
  • HIPAA and OSHA compliant
  • Great knowledge of procedures for handling confidential information
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams
  • Good time-management skills
  • Knowledgeable in dermatopathology for accurate diagnosis and treatment
