What You’ll Do

You’ll be the right hand to the Director of Finance—keeping our $7M+ operation running smoothly and ensuring every dollar is used wisely and compliantly.

• Manage all things accounting: AP, AR, payroll, and journal entries.
• Own the grant accounting process from start to finish—billing, compliance, and reporting for city, state, and federal contracts (DMH, CalAIM, CDBG, PSH, etc.).
• Help streamline our systems—set up online bill pay, manage bank deposits, and work your Excel magic.
• Partner with leadership to maintain clear, accurate financials and support our annual audit.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit or grant accounting highly preferred).
• Skilled in QuickBooks Online and Excel.
• Hands-on experience with government contract billing or Uniform Guidance audits.
• Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and ready to build better processes.
