Job Description

SNI Companies is working with an Information Technologies company in Broomall, PA who is seeking a part-time accountant. This role would be 10-15 hours a week, with 1-2 days in the office and the rest remote.

• Prepare mid-month invoices for two clients - every month
• Prepare end of month invoices for all customers - every month
• Record payments received from customers in Procas and in internal electronic folders -every month
• Maintain monthly revenue spreadsheet and update
• Customer collections - follow-up on past due invoice payments as necessary
• Send client payment information to CEO.
• Send client payment information to payroll with bonus information
• Emails and responses regarding customer invoices
• Prepare an Accounting Functions email accounts receivable projections - weekly

Accounts Payable

• Record some accounts payable invoices in Procas - weekly
• Prepare and email accounts payable projections - weekly
• Prepare checks for mailing, record mail date on checks, move paid checks to paid folder - weekly

Financial Reporting

• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Monthly journal entries
• Review general ledger postings and reports
• Prepare and email financial reports for the month

Other Monthly Tasks

• Sales taxes - update spreadsheet and process payment via PA MYPATH website; record
• invoice in Procas and add to Accounts Payable folder.
• Obtain PA Registration for new employees when necessary and provide information to
• PayChex

Quarterly Task

• Process quarterly estimated tax payments for CEO
• Annual Tasks
• Annual Year-End Close
• Annual Independent Review preparation and management
• Travelers Audit schedules
• US Census Bureau Surveys - usually twice per year
• Foreign state annual renewals
• MBE/DBE registration renewals
• Client Customer Statement of Account (A/R status)
