Selectek is looking for a PLC Programmer to begin working with a great client of ours in Santa Clara, CA immediately. This candidate will provide the setup and startup of hardware and software for the PLC, variable frequency drives, control and communications networks, and other electrical hardware and software.

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in PLC programming.
• Skilled in working with various manufacturers' automation hardware and software, including Allen Bradley, Automation Direct, GE, Modicon, WonderWare, Indusoft, Ignition, and SCADA development.
• Proficient in reading and modifying electrical control schematics.
• Knowledgeable about safety protocols.
• Capable of creating and interpreting logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, testing, and start-up.
• Experienced in system monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Adept at specifying, designing, and developing programs for equipment installation.
• Skilled in selecting and configuring automation devices, such as VFDs, for automation and control.
• Experienced in modifying existing programs to meet specific customer requirements.
• Able to provide guidance to Field Service Engineers on programming, repair, installation, and maintenance of PLC systems.
• Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Pay Rate: $95k - $110k
Term: Direct Hire
