Red Seat Ventures is on the hunt for a driven and experienced Podcast Marketing Manager to join our rapidly expanding team. In this exciting role, you'll collaborate with a diverse range of podcasts across various genres—everything from news and politics to true crime. Your mission? To support and amplify the growth of our current podcast network and drive the success of upcoming shows through innovative organic and paid marketing strategies. You’ll have the chance to champion new product launches, execute strategic pod swaps, create promotional campaigns and foster vibrant audience engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Growth Strategy Development : You will create marketing plans for both established and new podcasts to increase their audience.
Marketing Initiatives : Both organic (e.g., social media engagement, content creation) and paid strategies (e.g., ad campaigns) will be part of your toolkit to achieve growth.
Talent Promotion : Support product launches, special interviews, and events while promoting podcast talent to enhance their visibility.
Cross-Promotion : Arrange "pod swaps" with other podcasts to increase exposure to new listeners and foster community building within the podcast space.
Audience Engagement : Focus on growing and maintaining audience relationships to boost engagement and retention.
Data Analysis : Create regular ad hoc performance reports to identify trends and track data in a timely fashion.
Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to meet overall network and individual creator business goals.
Partnerships: Manage day-to-day relationships with podcast platform partners
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in podcasts and/or digital marketing with a focus on creator driven brands.
Self-Starter : Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results.
Proactive : High intellectual curiosity about the podcast industry & trends
Multi-tasking : Must manage multiple projects and tasks with varying priorities.
Strategic Thinking : Strong ability to plan and execute marketing strategies that align with both short-term and long-term goals.
Adaptability : Comfortable with a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for working with teams, talent, and external partners.
