Location: East Tulsa

Powder Coat Lead Pay Rate and Hours:

• $22- $24/hr 5:30am- 4:15pm
• Monday- Thursday (4x10s)

Powder Coat Lead Job Description:

• Batch oven, batch powder booth, Nordson rigs, existing powder coat team available for training
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise and chemicals (with appropriate protective gear).

Powder Coat Lead Skills:

Supervision:

• Lead and manage the powder coating team, assigning daily tasks, training new employees, and conducting performance evaluations.

Process Management:

• Oversee all aspects of the powder coating process, including preparation, application, curing, and inspection.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.

Quality Control:

• Conduct quality inspections to ensure that finished products meet specifications.
• Identify defects and coordinate necessary corrections.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Maintain and troubleshoot powder coating equipment, ensuring that machinery is functioning properly and safely.

Safety Compliance:

• Promote a safe working environment by following and enforcing safety procedures and guidelines.
• Report safety incidents and participate in safety training.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels of powder coating materials and supplies.
• Order materials as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase product quality.
• Implement best practices and new technologies as applicable.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments (such as engineering and logistics) to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues that may arise
