Job Description

This company in the life insurance industry is looking for their first proper Identity Access Management hire. They have folks doing access provisioning and active directory, but they need someone to modernize their program. This person will be standardizing Okta, building risk-based MFA, defining RBAC, modernizing APIs, and more, in addition to working closely with the development team (so strong knowledge in development is very helpful). There will be some automation and Terraform involved as well. This is a senior engineer/architect position that is fully remote (with travel to headquarters once per quarter).


This is a full-time position that requires strong engineering skills in Okta implementation and modernization. Development skills are strongly encouraged (any language) and automation skills are required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience with a focus on IAM engineering and architecture
  • Okta required
  • RBAC
  • Building risk-based MFA
• Strong knowledge of development
  • Development background strongly encouraged
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Secrets management experience
• Cloud migration experience
  • AWS preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
