Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliableentry level Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations in a retail pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate must have an active/clear PTCB in-hand or New York license.

Job Type: Temp to Hire or Permanent

Schedule: Variable Shifts, Including Weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Retrieve medications, count or pour doses, label containers, and price prescriptions
• Ensure all prescriptions are checked by a pharmacist before packaging
• Accurately process, prepare, and package prescriptions per company policy
• Enter customer information into pharmacy systems and maintain detailed records
• Follow the guidance of the on-duty pharmacist and pharmacy manager
• Maintain security and compliance with handling of controlled substances
• Monitor inventory levels, stock shelves, place and check orders from suppliers
• Handle general housekeeping tasks within the pharmacy
• Process transactions including prescription fulfillment and payment collection
• Prevent product shrinkage through proper handling and storage

Qualifications:

• PTCB Certification preferred or NY License
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
