About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Principal Consultant with strong expertise in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Materials Management (MM) modules. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end SAP engagements, manage teams, and build strong client relationships while delivering scalable SAP solutions aligned with business objectives. This role requires deep functional knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to optimize supply chain and procurement processes within SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete SAP engagements across SCM, MM, and related modules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide functional expertise and configuration guidance across SAP Procurement, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain processes.
• Manage and mentor project teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and proactive issue resolution.
• Configure and support SAP modules related to Procurement, Inventory, and Supply Chain Planning.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to streamline and automate workflows.
• Develop functional specifications for enhancements and system integrations.
• Define and manage master data for materials, vendors, and purchasing conditions.
• Conduct testing, end-user training, and support post-implementation processes.
• Ensure projects are delivered within defined scope, timelines, and quality standards.

Basic Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall experience, including 8+ years in SAP SCM/MM functional roles.
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and client relationships.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, procurement, and materials management processes.
• Prior experience working in the Retail domain with SAP-retail system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Solid understanding of SAP best practices and cross-module integration points.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
