Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time School Psychologist to support K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position begins in late August and offers a manageable caseload of 6-12 students, allowing for focused, individualized attention. The work schedule runs from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to develop and implement effective intervention plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and support services to students to promote mental health and well-being
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Masters or higher degree in School Psychology
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Location:

• Position based in Belfast, Maine serving a K-12 educational environment
