As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all staff and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and report any irregularities or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
