Position Overview

BALANCED+ seeks a dynamic Cybersecurity Engineer (SOC Analyst, Intermediate Level) to lead and implement cybersecurity initiatives across various business environments. This role demands a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a positive outlook, and extensive hands-on experience in computer networking and security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Network Design and Implementation: Architect, configure, and deploy robust computer networks.

· Security Management: Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to safeguard the organization’s data, systems, and networks.

· Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve security and network issues.

· Infrastructure Analysis: Conduct network infrastructure gap analysis and penetration testing.

· Incident Response: Address all system and network security breaches promptly.

· Performance Evaluation: Assess network performance and identify bottlenecks to ensure long-term efficiency.

· Vulnerability Management: Detect and mitigate network and system vulnerabilities. Perform vulnerability scanning of Balanced Plus assets and systems.

· Maintenance Scheduling: Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disrupting client operations.

· Data Protection: Perform regular device configuration and data backups to secure organizational information.

· Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues with network equipment and software.

· Team Collaboration: Work with peers to execute daily operations and special projects.

· Compliance and Reporting: Maintain records of client information systems, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and generate cybersecurity reports and firewall log analyses.
Document policies for Balanced Plus and organize them for internal usage.
Maintain and organize documentation for clients.

· Client Network Management : Add and manage client's network and internal network to CyberX environment.

• Technical Expertise : Hands-on experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, SASE, NAC, and ZTNA.
• Certifications : Fortinet NSE certifications are mandatory (NSE4 required, NSE7 preferred).
• Experience : Proven experience as a network technician/engineer or in a similar role.
• Skills : Exceptional diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Awareness of current cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
• Programming : Proficiency in Python (PowerShell is a plus).
• Communication : Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Education : College diploma or BSc/BA in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field.

Skills and Qualifications

• Network and Cybersecurity Delivery : Expertise in network engineering and cybersecurity.
• Maintenance : Experience in performing routine network maintenance.
• Cloud Services : Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, Cloud VPN, Cloud FortiGate).
• Cybersecurity Practices : Familiarity with VPN, MFA, EDR, phishing simulations, and spam filtering.
• Monitoring and Ticketing : Ability to manage monitoring (Zabbix) and ticketing (Zendesk) systems.
• Project Management : Strong project management and time organization skills.

• Travel : Travel to and from client sites will be reimbursed (car required).
