About The Team The Consumer Marketing team is committed to bringing DoorDashs mission of empowering local economies to life for our millions of consumers. The New Vertical Consumer Integrated Marketing team connects DoorDash customers to everything they need beyond restaurants from groceries to alcohol, convenience, and retail. We lead integrated marketing for our New Verticals (NV) business, building category awareness, driving trial, and creating habits that keep customers coming back.

Within this team, the Habituation & Affordability pod focuses on two critical growth levers: helping new customers develop consistent ordering habits within NV, and ensuring DoorDash is perceived as the best value choice for everyday needs. We do this by combining insightdriven storytelling, crosschannel media strategies, and close partnership with product and pricing teams to drive both retention and perception of value across all NV categories.

About The Role As a Senior Manager, Consumer Integrated Marketing New Verticals Habituation & Affordability , you will lead strategies that deepen engagement and drive retention for DoorDashs New Verticals (Grocery, Alcohol, Retail, and Convenience). Youll own how we turn new customers into loyal, habitual users and how we communicate value and affordability levers across categories.

This role blends marketing strategy across product marketing, growth marketing, and lifecycle strategy giving you the opportunity to shape both 01 initiatives and scaled programs that drive meaningful business impact. Youll manage a team of two and collaborate closely with crossfunctional partners across Marketing, Product, Strategy & Operations, Finance, and Analytics to build integrated strategies that influence customer behavior at every stage of the funnel.

  • Own the Habituation and Affordability vision: Define the strategy, goals, and roadmap for driving repeat engagement and communicating DoorDashs value proposition across New Verticals.
  • Lead integrated gotomarket planning: Build and execute fullfunnel marketing campaigns that drive growth through paid, owned, earned, and inapp channels.
  • Act as the voice of the customer: Deeply understand consumer motivations and barriers, surfacing insights that inform both marketing and product roadmaps.
  • Partner crossfunctionally: Serve as the hub within marketing collaborating across Brand, Creative, Retention, Performance, and CRM while aligning with Product, Strategy & Ops, Analytics, and Finance on business objectives.
  • Balance growth and efficiency: Develop acquisition and retention strategies that maximize impact within set budgets, leveraging experimentation, testing, and performance analysis.
  • Build and lead a highperforming team: Manage and mentor a team of three, fostering curiosity, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Track key metrics, cultural trends, and competitive insights to evolve how DoorDash shows up for customers in value and habitbuilding moments.

You Have

  • 8+ years of marketing experience in a corporate or startup environment, ideally within tech, eCommerce, or CPG across corporate and startups.
  • Fluency across the marketing mix you understand how brand, CRM, paid, and lifecycle channels work together to drive both short and longterm growth.
  • Proven success driving retention and customer engagement, with experience in lifecycle, growth, or valuebased marketing.
  • A strong strategic and analytical mindset you translate data and audience insights into clear marketing actions and measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience shaping affordability or value narratives, including promotions, pricing, or perceptionofvalue campaigns.
  • Exceptional crossfunctional influence, with the ability to build alignment and drive execution without direct authority.
  • A creative, collaborative problemsolving approach you thrive in ambiguity, think like a GM, and love solving for why before the what.
  • A bias for action and ownership youre dependable, selfdirected, and skilled at prioritizing impact in a fastpaced environment.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience, with a passion for developing and mentoring highperforming marketers.
  • Bonus: Experience in paid marketing, SEO/SEM, or lifecycle optimization.
  • Education: Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred.

We expect this position to be filled by 12/22/25.

Compensation The successful candidates starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on jobrelated factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employees work location. Ranges are marketdependent and may be modified in the future.

Paid Time Off Details

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
